The apple juice industry produces significant amounts of waste every year. Komrads uses this waste, such as apple peels and cores, and makes Apple Leather from it. The end result is a cellulose-based material made from at least 50% recycled apple fibers, which offers a sustainable and bio-based alternative to leather, and supports sustainable development.

The company's partner Frumat earned the Technology and Innovation award at the Milan "Green Carpet Fashion" gala last year.
